My five year old loves her new loft bed!

I am direction proficient but not on the genius level, so it took me about 4 hours to put this thing together by myself. Still I was very proud of myself by the end. The directions were easy to follow and the finished product looks like the picture. My daughter loves this bed. My only complaint is that the plastic parts did not fit easily. Especially the ones that go above the bars that support the mattress. I ended up leaving most of them off since it felt like I was going to permanently damage my thumbs from pushing those parts in so hard. An 1/8" of the top of the part that snaps in would solve the problem I think.

Decent, good for the price ($199)

This is a solid metal loft bed, which I use for my son to sleep over my bed. We spent a couple of hours assembling without too much trouble. The screw alignment was a bit tricky, but not daunting — i.e. the precision of the manufacturing isn’t perfect. I would have preferred if more screws were accessible to power tools. Most of them had to be tightened by hand. It’s only a minor hassle. It seems robust enough even for an adult. If anything, it looks a bit massive in our small bedroom.
